John Oldfield brings over two decades of C-suite experience in management and governance. He spent seventeen years as CEO for GP Synergy Limited which became Australia’s largest training organisation specialising in general practice medical education and training throughout NSW and the ACT.  John’s areas of expertise are manifold and include corporate and operational strategy, stakeholder engagement, integrated governance, risk and compliance systems, and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Cybersecurity.

John has held C-suite roles in both public and private sectors.  Notably, he led GP Synergy Limited from a small startup to a large public enterprise with revenue exceeding $60M, while managing a workforce of 250 employees across nine offices. He has lived experience implementing the ISO27001 ISMS standard highlighting an uncompromised commitment to InfoSec and Cybersecurity. His strategic acumen is reflected in the execution of corporate amalgamations, operational and ITC strategy, integrated systems development, and complex change management.
